Woodside Energy on Track for First Oil from Senegal’s Sangomar Offshore Project
Australian oil and gas company Woodside Energy aims to achieve first oil from the Sangomar offshore project in Senegal by the middle of next year. The FPSO, Léopold Sédar Senghor, has departed Singapore and is en route to the site, located 50 nautical miles south of Dakar. Senegal’s first offshore oil development is on the horizon.
