Miros and Marine Technologies (MT) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to integrate advanced marine sensing technologies with MT’s vessel control systems. This partnership aims to enhance safety and sustainability in offshore operations by combining Miros’ expertise in real-time ocean sensing with MT’s dynamic positioning capabilities, optimizing vessel performance.
Miros, a global ocean insights specialist, has launched the Oil Spill Detection (OSD) Monitoring app in Miros Cloud. This new solution offers real-time visibility, centralized collaboration, and full accountability for offshore operators. Users can monitor, track, and respond to oil spills faster, minimizing environmental impact and reducing operational costs.
Miros and Prysmian have extended their partnership to supply wave monitoring systems for the Monna Lisa and Marco Polo cable laying vessels. Equipped with Miros’ WaveSystem and Cloud technology, these vessels will benefit from real-time sea state and weather data, enhancing safety and efficiency during cable-laying operations.
