Fiji: MSAF suggests drug testing for seafarers
The Marine Safety Authority of Fiji is considering mandatory random drug tests for all seafarers to combat the illegal drug trade across maritime islands. MSAF CEO Joweli Cawaki expressed concern about the involvement of maritime transport vessels in drug movement and the need for policy changes to deter perpetrators.
