Oil Overflow Incident in Singapore: MPA Responds with Cleanup and Investigation Measures
The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) has confirmed that 5 tonnes of oil overflowed from the Bulk Carrier, INES CORRADO. The overflow has been stopped, and dispersants have been sprayed. No oil has been sighted at sea or ashore. A Current Buster has been deployed, and Malaysian authorities have been alerted.
