The Panama Canal maintains its transit level as other sectors leave the container industry

Despite a decline in transit trips through the drought-stricken Panama Canal, container ships are maintaining levels due to reduced competition. The Panama Canal Authority has implemented restrictions to maintain water levels, resulting in a decrease in transits.
