Drifting Unmanned Yacht Rescued by RNLI
On September 12, a pilot vessel alerted HM Coastguard to an uncrewed yacht drifting near the Queen’s Channel in the River Mersey. The New Brighton RNLI’s lifeboat quickly arrived, assessing the risk to nearby vessels. With challenging sea conditions, they towed the yacht back to safety, showcasing the RNLI’s dedication.
