New Parametric Roll Algorithm Developed for Enhanced Ship Safety and Efficiency
ABB and the CMA CGM Group have joined forces to develop a new parametric roll algorithm for enhanced ship safety. By integrating CMA CGM’s theoretical framework with ABB’s Octopus Marine Advisory System, the algorithm aims to reduce the risk of accidents and damage caused by parametric roll, benefiting container ships and RO-Pax vessels.
