Dutch Police Nab Smugglers Dumping Narcotics at Sea
On March 15, a Dutch drug intervention team apprehended five smugglers off Zeeland’s coast, caught discarding cocaine into the North Sea. Utilizing the “drop-off method,” they transferred hundreds of kilos from a containership to awaiting boats. Authorities seized a high-speed motorboat, suspected to be obtained fraudulently, during the operation.
