Small Vessel Stability Research Collaboration by TSC and SMMI
In 2023, TSC and SMMI launched a project on small vessel stability with funding from the Wolfson Unit and NFFO. Testing at Southampton University’s Boldrewood Towing Tank focused on key provisions like freeboard and bulwark height. The collaboration aimed to improve safety measures for small vessel operators and enhance compliance with regulations in the maritime industry.
