New Greenfield Port Construction in Tamil Nadu Planned
The Tamil Nadu Maritime Board is set to build a new port in Cuddalore with an estimated investment of ₹1,500 to ₹2,000 crore. The greenfield port will enhance cargo capacity to 13.5 million tonnes annually, with plans to expand to 40 million tonnes. This project aims to meet the region’s growing maritime needs.
