TOWT Joins ZESTAs for Sustainable Shipping

French sailing freight transport company TransOceanic Wind Transport (TOWT) has joined the Zero Emissions Ship Technology Association (ZESTAs), dedicated to a sustainable marine industry. TOWT’s decarbonization efforts include ordering six additional vessels from French shipbuilder Piriou, expected to debut in 2026 and 2027, solidifying its position as the owner of the world’s largest fleet of sail cargo ships.
