Two Tanker Incidents in Middle East Trigger UKMTO Advisory
On August 5, UKMTO reported two maritime security incidents involving tankers near Yemen and the Strait of Hormuz. One tanker, southeast of Aden, experienced a loud explosion but all crew were safe. Another tanker near Oman also heard explosions. UKMTO urges vigilance and is investigating both occurrences.
