Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) has welcomed the delivery of the Energia Grandeur, a new LPG dual-fuel very large gas carrier. Commissioned by MOL Energia and built by Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, the vessel will operate under a time charter with TotalEnergies, significantly reducing emissions while transporting ammonia.
South Korea’s HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (HD KSOE) has secured a contract valued at approximately USD 121 million to construct a very large gas carrier (VLGC) for a European shipowner. This project, expected for delivery in the first half of 2028, adds to the company’s growing portfolio of gas carrier contracts.

Operated by MOL (India) PVT LTD, which now owns 11 tankers, this move strengthens its presence in India’s shipping market, particularly at Gift City, a financial hub.
