The ship owned by Md Bashir Hossain was en route to Jashore’s Noapara after receiving cargo from a foreign ship at the port. Unfortunately, the vessel suffered a hull breach, causing it to sink. The 12 crew members were able to swim to safety on shore, but the shipmaster’s attempt to save the ship by steering it onto a shoal was unsuccessful. As a result, Bashir claimed to have suffered a significant financial loss due to the accident.

According to ship owner Md Bashir Hossain, the vessel had departed from the port with cargo from a foreign ship and was headed to Jashore’s Noapara when it encountered the hull breach. Despite the efforts of the shipmaster to save the ship by steering it onto a shoal, the vessel ultimately sank. Fortunately, all 12 crew members were able to swim ashore. Bashir expressed his frustration at the significant financial loss resulting from the accident.
