NHV Group has secured a contract extension with the Dutch Maritime Pilot’s Association to continue providing maritime pilotage services in the Netherlands. As part of the new long-term agreement, NHV will update its fleet with two Airbus H145 D3 helicopters, replacing the current Dauphin AS365N3 aircraft. This upgrade will enhance reliability and efficiency for NHV, aligning with their commitment to excellence in service delivery.
The contract extension will see NHV operating the new Airbus H145 D3 helicopters from Pistoolhaven starting in 2025. These helicopters will be used to transport maritime pilots to and from large vessels navigating through Dutch harbors, particularly during challenging weather conditions. Bart Sinnaeve, director of Operations at NHV Group, expressed pride in the continued partnership with the Dutch Pilots’ Organisation and the introduction of the new aircraft fleet.
Elco Oskam, manager of Operations at the Dutch Pilots’ Organisation, emphasized NHV’s reliability and customer focus as key factors in the decision to extend the contract. Oskam highlighted the importance of the fleet renewal in ensuring safe and sustainable support for marine pilots in their operations. The collaboration between NHV Group and the Dutch Pilots’ Organisation is seen as a significant milestone in the ongoing partnership between the two entities.
