Eni Expands LNG Bunkering with Avenir Aspiration Charter Agreement

Eni has entered into a charter agreement with Avenir LNG for the LNG bunker vessel Avenir Aspiration, aimed at supporting the company’s expansion in the LNG bunkering market. The vessel will be responsible for supplying LNG to cargo and passenger ships, as more vessels are turning to LNG for its lower environmental impact and compliance with stringent emission standards. This move is part of Eni’s efforts to increase its presence in the small-scale LNG bunkering market in the Mediterranean Sea, demonstrating its commitment to sustainability and the decarbonization of the maritime sector by 2050.
