Four people have died and five are missing after a fishing vessel capsized off the southern coast of South Korea. The incident occurred on Saturday, March 9, when the 29-tonne vessel, known as 2 Haesinho, overturned approximately 68 kilometers south of Tongyeong. Of the nine crew members on board, four have been confirmed dead, including one South Korean and three Indonesian nationals. The missing individuals consist of one South Korean and four Indonesian sailors.
Rescue efforts are ongoing, with the Korea Coast Guard and other agencies searching the surrounding waters for any sign of the missing crew members.
