NEW MANGALORE: The New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA) continues to play a pivotal role in India’s energy security, with the recent docking of two significant energy carriers amidst global uncertainties. The arrival of the oil tanker Aqua Titan, loaded with 96,099 tonnes of crude oil, and the Pysix Pioneer, delivering 16,714 tonnes of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), highlights the nation’s preparedness for fluctuating energy markets.

Port officials emphasized that these consistent inflows of essential energy cargo reflect the Government of India’s proactive measures to ensure stable fuel supply, which is vital for sustaining industrial operations, transportation, and household energy needs.
