The Two-Day Training Program on Methanol Bunkering, inaugurated by Nilabhra Dasgupta, IRS, Deputy Chairman of the DPA, focuses on preparing the workforce for future clean fuel operations. The event was attended by the Chief Vigilance Officer and senior officials of the DPA, in collaboration with the Gandhidham Collegiate Board.

This initiative is part of the Deendayal Kaushal Vikas Program and aligns with India’s Green Maritime Vision. The training is designed to equip participants with essential skills needed for the evolving maritime industry, which increasingly prioritizes sustainable practices.

By fostering expertise in methanol bunkering, the program aims to support the shift towards cleaner fuel alternatives, contributing to a more environmentally friendly maritime sector.
