Pole Star Global has unveiled a new maritime intelligence ecosystem that integrates analytics, generative AI, and real-time data delivery. This innovative launch features three key products: Meridia, Meridia IQ, and Insights Data Products, aimed at assisting shipping companies, governments, and financial institutions in improving safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
The first product, Meridia, serves as a comprehensive analytics platform that consolidates vessel, port, and fleet activity monitoring. It enables users to track congestion, arrivals, and performance while automating reporting processes. Meridia IQ, the second offering, functions as an AI assistant that responds to natural-language inquiries regarding fleets, ports, or ships, leveraging Pole Star’s extensive data network without requiring advanced data training.
Additionally, the Insights Data Products provide pre-packaged data feeds accessible via API or email, facilitating integration with popular platforms such as Power BI and Tableau. Collectively, these tools aim to streamline maritime operations by connecting to 60% of the global commercial fleet, merging satellite, terrestrial, and proprietary AIS signals.
CTO Matt Morgan emphasized the launch’s significance, stating, “Our goal is to give every organization the ability to flip to the answer key, instantly and intelligently,” marking a pivotal advancement in the modernization of maritime data and decision-making processes.
