Inmarsat Maritime, a Viasat company, has announced that Anglo-Eastern will enhance Hadley Shipping Group’s fleet with its NexusWave connectivity solution. This upgrade marks a significant advancement for Hadley Shipping, a long-time Inmarsat user, as it transitions to a unified, multi-orbit system that promises improved performance, robust cybersecurity, and scalability for future operational needs and crew welfare.

Anglo-Eastern, a leader in technical ship management, began implementing its multi-orbit connectivity strategy in 2023. The rollout of NexusWave across various vessels underscores its commitment to digital transformation, enhanced cyber-resilience, and providing seafarers with reliable internet access. Torbjorn Dimblad, Chief Information Officer at Anglo-Eastern, emphasized the solution’s secure, high-performance connectivity and its alignment with the company’s vision for a digitally advanced fleet.

Sunit Das, Director of Operations at Hadley Shipping Group, highlighted that while unlimited data is a key benefit of NexusWave, the investment also aims to enhance operational efficiency and crew wellbeing.
