BMT has inaugurated its Digital Innovation & Simulation Centre (DISC) at its Fareham facility in the UK. This state-of-the-art center focuses on high-value simulation, immersive engineering, and commercial engagement. Central to the facility is the BMT REMBRANDT navigation simulator, a DNV-accredited system utilized globally for port feasibility, pilot training, and navigation studies.

The DISC features a versatile full mission bridge for both defense and commercial vessels, along with two 360-degree pod simulators, two small-vessel simulators, and a remote operations center. A large LED video wall enhances the immersive experience, facilitating complex operations and incident reconstructions. The high-fidelity hydrodynamic engine supports a range of training applications, including litigation-grade reconstructions and ship-to-ship transfer analysis.
