The newly delivered vessel, named Astramar, is classified by Lloyd’s Register and is the tenth unit in a series of twelve hybrid vessels. Each of these ships has a deadweight tonnage of 5,350 and is designed to efficiently transport a diverse array of bulk and breakbulk goods, including steel, forest products, fertilizers, and project cargo.

The first two vessels in this innovative series, Electramar and Stellamar, were successfully delivered to AtoB@C Shipping in 2024. This ongoing investment in hybrid technology reflects the company’s commitment to enhancing its operational efficiency and sustainability in the shipping industry.
