The Sharjah Government Media Bureau announced via the social media platform X that further updates will be provided as they become available. This incident occurs amidst escalating regional tensions following a joint offensive by the US and Israel against Iran, which began on February 28 and has resulted in over 1,340 fatalities, including the then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

In retaliation, Iran has conducted drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, as well as Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf nations hosting US military assets. Additionally, Iran has implemented restrictions on maritime movement through the Strait of Hormuz.
