Qatar has officially resumed maritime navigation for all vessel types, signaling a move towards normalizing operations in its waters, according to reports from News.az. This decision reflects the country’s commitment to restoring full maritime activities following previous restrictions.

As announced by the Qatar Ministry of Transport, navigation for all maritime vessels and ships will operate daily from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., effective April 12, 2026. This resumption allows for greater accessibility and operational flexibility within Qatar’s maritime sector.

Additionally, the Qatar News Agency confirmed that fishing vessels are permitted to operate throughout the day, adhering to previously established regulations. This development is part of a broader strategy to enhance maritime operations while ensuring compliance with specific conditions for different types of vessels.
