Ocean Network Express, a shipping company, has set a new world record by loading 21,954 TEU containers onto a single ship, the M/V ONE Integrity, at the port of Singapore. The achievement was announced by ONE on X, with the vessel being one of six new “Megamax” class ships in the company’s fleet with a capacity of 24,000 TEU. Ocean Network Express was formed in 2017 by integrating the liner businesses of three companies, and is currently the sixth largest container carrier in the world with a fleet of over 225 vessels representing approximately 1.69 million TEU. ONE is a member of THE Alliance (THEA), a global consortium for maritime transport companies.

The record-breaking loading of containers onto the ONE Integrity is a significant achievement for Ocean Network Express. The company’s fleet of “Megamax” class ships, including the ONE Integrity, is a testament to their position as a major player in the shipping industry. Additionally, the company’s membership in THE Alliance further solidifies its global presence and influence in maritime transport. The impressive record set by the ONE Integrity demonstrates Ocean Network Express’s commitment to exceeding industry standards and pushing the boundaries of what is possible in container shipping.
