Tuco Marine, based in Denmark, has delivered a 15m ProZero workboat to Diskoline, a shipping company in Greenland. The vessel is specifically designed for Arctic conditions and can carry up to 12 passengers while meeting strict regulations set by the Danish Maritime Authority. Powered by twin inboard Volvo Penta diesel engines, the workboat can reach a top speed of 30 knots, making it suitable for various tasks in Greenland’s challenging maritime environment.
Diskoline, an experienced player in passenger transport in Greenland, played a key role in shaping the layout and specifying special features of the workboat to meet their unique operational demands. The vessel is equipped with heated handrails and guardrails, an extensive navigation package from Furuno, and custom solutions for luggage storage to enhance passenger comfort and safety. During the formal handover, Peter Caspersen, New Build Manager at Diskoline, officially took over the ProZero workboat on behalf of the new owners, underscoring Tuco Marine’s commitment to providing innovative and reliable vessels for professional users in challenging marine environments.
