Abu Dhabi is set to invest $2 billion in Maharashtra’s ports and shipbuilding sector, marking a historic partnership. The Memorandum of Understanding, announced by Minister Nitesh Rane, focuses on shipbuilding, maritime transport, and port infrastructure. This collaboration aims to enhance Maharashtra’s maritime capabilities and attract further investments, supporting sustainable economic growth.
In a major advancement for maritime transport, Incat Crowther launched two aluminum high-speed Ro-Pax ferries for Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Transport Centre. Named Jazirat Dalma and Al Dhannah, these new vessels can accommodate 192 passengers and 25 vehicles, operating at speeds up to 39 knots on the Dalma Island to Jebel Dhannah route.

MARSDNA offers a user-friendly questionnaire to evaluate ESG metrics and provide tailored recommendations. This initiative promotes sustainability and positions Abu Dhabi as a global leader in maritime sustainability.
