India and Indonesia Coast Guards Renew Maritime Safety Cooperation MoU

The Indian Coast Guard and the Indonesia Coast Guard have extended their MoU on Maritime Safety and Security Cooperation for three years, strengthening bilateral relations. A recent high-level meeting focused on enhancing operational interaction and capacity building in key areas. Indian Coast Guard’s ICGS Sujay Strengthens Maritime Ties with Indonesia in Bali Visit

The Indian Coast Guard vessel, ICG’s Offshore Patrol Vessel Sujay, arrived at Bali for a three-day strategic port call during its East Asia deployment. The visit includes professional interactions with Indonesia’s BAKAMLA, cross-deck training, joint yoga sessions, and sports events. Ten NCC cadets will participate in an environment protection walkathon to raise awareness about marine pollution.
