Innovative Floating CO2 Storage Unit Design Receives Approval
Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) has received approval from Bureau Veritas (BV) for its Floating CO2 Storage Unit (FCSU) design. The FCSU features a unique free-form pressure tank design with Lattice Pressure Vessels for CO2 storage, offering a more space-efficient alternative to traditional cylindrical tank installations. This innovative design integrates the CO2 storage tanks directly into the hull of the unit.
