Gastrointestinal Virus Sparks Quarantine on French Cruise Vessel
French authorities have ordered all passengers and crew aboard the cruise ship Ambition to stay on board due to gastrointestinal virus concerns. Approximately 50 passengers and one crew member reported symptoms. Initial tests ruled out norovirus, and the outbreak may be linked to “stomach flu” or food poisoning.
