The HMM Garnet, the first of twelve 13,000 TEU container ships, has been delivered by South Korean shipping company HMM. Equipped with advanced energy-saving technologies, the LNG-capable vessel was unveiled at a naming ceremony in Ulsan and will be used on the East Coast 1 route. HMM’s fleet capacity will reach 1 million TEU after all deliveries are completed.
