Fierce Collision Between Bulk Carriers Near Queensland Coast
A dramatic collision off the coast of Queensland, Australia, was captured in a wild new video. On July 16, 2024, the LNG-fueled bulk carrier HL Eco collided with YM Serenity during an anchoring maneuver. The collision resulted in significant damage, including the destruction of an LNG fuel tank. Thank goodness there was no gas in HL Eco’s tanks.
