Advancing Maritime Green Skills in SIDS and LDCs
On January 23, 2026, maritime decarbonization in Small Island Developing States and Least Developed Countries advanced significantly with the completion of the 2025 GHG-SMART training cycle. Twenty-three professionals from 13 nations participated in a capacity-building program focusing on regulatory, policy, technological, and financial aspects of shipping decarbonization.
