Marshall Islands Registry Achieves 21st Year of QUALSHIP 21 Recognition from USCG

The Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) Registry has once again been recognized by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) for its commitment to high-quality shipping. For the 21st consecutive year, the RMI has maintained its status as a qualifying jurisdiction, making it the only one of the world’s three largest registries to achieve QUALSHIP 21 for this year.

Panama Ship Registry Maintains 16 Percent Market Share with Growth in 2023

The Panama Ship Registry maintained its industry leadership in 2023, modernizing the registry and purging non-compliant vessels. With 8,540 vessels, it became the largest registry by number of ships, despite competition from the rapidly growing Liberian flag registry. Panama’s focus on fleet quality and compliance led to the cancellation of 161 vessels in 2023.
