Consortium Formed by Iran’s Largest Shipbuilders
Three Iranian shipbuilders have joined forces to build all-Iranian ships, aiming to meet the country’s marine industry needs. The consortium, consisting of SADRA, Iran Shipbuilding and Offshore Industries Complex, and Darya-Bandar, is set to construct 3,500- or 5,000-ton ships for IRISL. Construction of two ships is expected to be completed by March 2025.
