Russia’s Northern Sea Route: Record Transit Traffic Expected This Summer
Russia’s Northern Sea Route is set to witness record transit traffic this summer, with over 200 permits issued by Rosatom for vessels. While mainly Russian-flagged ships provide relief supplies to the Arctic, an increasing number of foreign-flagged LNG tankers, crude oil tankers, and container ships are expected to travel the route.
