ClassNK, a leading classification society, recently announced a reshuffle of its full-time executives to navigate the maritime industry through a period of significant transformation. President & CEO Hiroaki Sakashita and SEVP Junichiro Iida will continue in their current roles, while EVP Hayato Suga has been promoted to SEVP. Additionally, Dr. Toshiro Arima, Masaki Matsunaga, and Dr. Yoshiya Yamaguchi have been appointed as new EVPs.

The new executive structure includes SEVP Junichiro Iida overseeing business strategy, SEVP Hayato Suga managing corporate strategy and day-to-day operations, and the newly appointed EVPs leading different divisions. Dr. Toshiro Arima heads the Research and Development Division, Masaki Matsunaga leads the Plan Approval and Technical Solution Division, and Dr. Yoshiya Yamaguchi is in charge of the Business Assurance Division.
