Dubai Maritime Authority and Gulf Craft have joined forces to create a unified platform aimed at simplifying the registration and licensing process for maritime vessels in Dubai. The strategic partnership agreement was signed by Sheikh Dr. Saeed bin Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum, Executive Director of the Dubai Maritime Authority, and Abeer Alshaali, Deputy Managing Director of Gulf Craft.
Under the agreement, both parties will collaborate to establish a streamlined platform for registering and licensing maritime vessels in Dubai. This initiative is designed to enhance efficiency and convenience for customers, allowing them to purchase vessels from Gulf Craft sales outlets and register them directly through Dubai Maritime Authority’s electronic system, in accordance with the legal framework of the agreement.
Sheikh Saeed highlighted Dubai Maritime Authority’s commitment to fostering strategic partnerships with the private sector to facilitate procedures for clients. The agreement with Gulf Craft aligns with the government’s directives to provide top-notch services to individuals interacting with the Dubai government, in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. By closely collaborating with partners like Gulf Craft, Dubai Maritime Authority aims to ensure the safety and compliance of maritime vessels operating in Dubai, while enhancing the overall experience for customers.
