Indian Maritime University (IMU) is currently conducting a recruitment drive for various non-teaching positions. The application process began on August 9 and will close on August 30. IMU aims to fill a total of 27 posts through direct selection. The Computer-based Recruitment Test (CRT) is scheduled for September 15. Vacancies include Assistant and Assistant (Finance) positions at IMU’s headquarters in Chennai and other campuses in Mumbai, Kolkata, Vizag, and Kochi.
Horizontal reservations for Ex-servicemen and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) are also available. The official notice states that vacancies are tentative and subject to change, with IMU reserving the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage. Applicants must review eligibility criteria and recruitment rules carefully before applying.
Candidates should attach self-attested photocopies of required documents like educational certificates and caste certificates. Age limit for applicants is 35 years with relaxations available for specific categories. The application fee varies for different categories and must be paid online. The recruitment process includes an exam with multiple-choice questions for each position, covering various subjects like General English, Mathematics, Reasoning, and Information Technology.
