A fire on the London-registered container vessel Ever Lenient occurred at Singapore’s PSA Pasir Panjang Terminal on April 11. The blaze involved containers on board and prompted an immediate response from emergency services.

Firefighting efforts, led by the Singapore Civil Defence Force, continued throughout the night. The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore deployed patrol craft to establish a seaward cordon and utilized drones for aerial surveillance to support the firefighting operations.

Following the incident, PSA Singapore is facilitating the safe discharge of the affected containers as part of the ongoing response. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
