V.Group, a global ship management and marine services company, has opened a new office in Oman to expand its presence in the Middle East. The office, located in Muscat, will primarily focus on crew management and provide technical and crew services to customers in the region. This move will support customers, including Asyad Shipping, a subsidiary of Oman’s Asyad Group, with their strategic Omanisation plans by recruiting Omani seafarers.

The official launch event for the new office took place on April 24th at Muscat’s JW Marriott Hotel and was attended by V.Group’s executive team and local dignitaries. René Kofod-Olsen, CEO of V.Group, expressed the company’s commitment to the Middle Eastern market and its excitement to have a base in Oman. The expansion adds to V.Group’s growing portfolio of offices in the region, which already includes two offices in Dubai and one in Abu Dhabi.
