Trial of AI-Powered Fire Detection on Ships Launched
Consilium Safety Group and Hyundai Heavy Industries have signed a memorandum to integrate AI-powered cameras into maritime fire alarm systems. Utilizing Hyundai’s HiCAMS technology, the collaboration aims to enhance smoke and flame detection. A pilot test on the Sawasdee Sunrise vessel in Korea is underway, focusing on improving safety on container ships.
