Vessel’s Second Conversion Saves CO2 Emissions and Reduces Environmental Impact
Green Yard Kleven has converted an 80-meter vessel into a cable lay and repair services vessel for NTT, a major Asian telecommunications company. The Vega II, formerly a walk-to-work vessel, now features new equipment for cable work in Asian waters. The conversion process prioritized sustainability, saving 919 tons of CO2 emissions.
