Panama Canal Dry Season Reservations Expand to Include Panamax Locks
The Panama Canal is expanding its transit reservation program to include Panamax locks, allowing shipping clients to secure slots months in advance for the 2027 dry season. The Long-term Slot Allocation (LoTSA) program will enhance scheduling certainty, with sealed-bid competitions for capacity allocations scheduled later this year.
