Maritime ports requested to reduce cautionary signal
Maritime ports in Bangladesh, including Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar, have been advised to lower cautionary signals as cyclonic storm Remal weakens into a land depression. The storm, now moving northwards, has prompted authorities to hoist local cautionary signals instead. Fishing boats are urged to remain in shelter until the storm passes.
