RightShip and ZeroNorth have announced a strategic collaboration to integrate their solutions, aiming to enhance vessel performance and emissions management. This partnership will merge RightShip’s GHG 2.0 Rating and Safety Score with ZeroNorth’s CII Emissions Analytics solution. Users of both platforms will benefit from a comprehensive view of their vessel performance, enabling informed decision-making to improve operational efficiency and environmental sustainability.
ZeroNorth’s CII Emissions Analytics solution supports shipping companies in optimizing operations to meet Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII) requirements while maintaining commercial performance. It offers insights into fleet and vessel CII performance, alerting operators to potential non-compliance risks. Meanwhile, RightShip’s GHG 2.0 Rating evaluates vessel emissions output on a scale from A to E, considering factors such as EEXI values, EVDI, and EEDI to compare a vessel’s efficiency against similar vessels.
With IMO regulations mandating a reduction in carbon emissions for international shipping to reach net zero by 2050, effective emissions management is crucial. The partnership between RightShip and ZeroNorth will support customers in improving their environmental performance, ensuring that key tools for maritime decarbonization are not used in isolation. This collaboration empowers stakeholders in the maritime value chain with actionable insights into vessel emission profiles, enabling informed decisions aligned with sustainability goals for a greener, more sustainable maritime future.
