Shipbuilder GRSE is currently working on developing six patrol boats for Bangladesh’s Sustainable Coastal and Marine Fisheries Project. The contract for these boats is valued at USD 16.6 million. This initiative is part of GRSE’s goal to expand its presence and exports to friendly countries. In the past, the company has delivered vessels to nations like Mauritius, Seychelles, and Guyana.
The newly constructed patrol boats will be essential for enhancing Bangladesh’s coastal and marine fisheries capabilities. The GRSE representative stated that the dredger will be 58.70 meters long, capable of reaching speeds of up to 10 knots, and specially designed to withstand various marine conditions. This effort signifies GRSE’s commitment to providing high-quality maritime solutions to its clients and partners around the world.
