Israeli shipping company Mano Maritime is organizing two special cruise voyages to repatriate Israeli citizens stranded in Cyprus, in collaboration with Israel’s Transportation Ministry. The luxury cruise ship Crown Iris, which can accommodate 2,000 passengers, will be used for this operation. The first voyage is scheduled to depart from Limassol, Cyprus, with the timing contingent on the regional security situation and approval from Israeli defense authorities.
Each round trip will take approximately 15 hours, with the ship stopping briefly in Limassol for boarding before returning to Israel. Described as a “5-star floating hotel,” the Crown Iris aims to provide a comfortable travel option during this challenging time. Tickets are available exclusively through Mano Maritime’s website, priced between €399 and €650 per person, reflecting operational costs adjusted for the current situation.
The fare includes special arrangements in Cyprus, such as passport control and enhanced security measures. Mano Maritime emphasizes that this initiative is designed to offer a reliable sea route home as other travel options remain uncertain.
