Deendayal Port Authority (DPA) in Kandla has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Green-Kutch NextGen Pvt. Ltd. to develop a green hydrogen ecosystem, aligned with the National Green Hydrogen Mission. Signed by DPA Chairman Sushil Kumar Singh during the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) in Rajkot, this collaboration will engage the community in green hydrogen initiatives while supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and creating job opportunities for youth.

DPA plans to establish a “Kutch Green Hydrogen Park” at Kandla, providing plug-and-play infrastructure for modular green hydrogen production and storage. This initiative aims to support India’s long-term Net Zero goals and facilitate a clean energy transition.
